Last weekend we wrapped up the 14th annual Terre Hill Haunted Trail! The weather was a bit chilly and windy, but around 560 guests joined us for the event this year. Together, we raised over $5,000 for the Terre Hill Park!
I’ve had a bunch of folks over the past week asking about the trail and what’s in store for next year. Rather than have incorrect rumors spreading around, here’s the facts- Just before this year’s event kicked off, I announced to the staff that this would be my last year heading up the Haunted Trail. The event has meant so much to me over the years and I’ve deeply enjoyed working with my fellow volunteers and committee members to grow the event. We’ve had so much positive feedback over the years, and enjoyed support from the community as well as area businesses.
Sadly, the event requires an enormous time commitment. While we’ve had a great team, we just haven’t had the manpower needed to set up and tear down the event- nor have I had the time to commit that I once had. Rather than see the event decline in quality, I must let it go.
To everyone that’s ever been a part of the Terre Hill Haunted Trail, a sincere Thank You!
