Christmas lights will fill the Terre Hill Park along with food, activities, top notch entertainment, free children’s crafts, music, vendors and more! Christmas in the Park has expanded to TWO weekends this year – with more food, activities, lights and entertainment then ever before! 

Dates: Friday, December 1 through Sunday, December 3 AND Friday, December 8 through Sunday, December 10

Hours: Nightly, 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM (hours for specific activities vary- see below). Check our Facebook page for weather updates. 

Cost: Parking and general admission are FREE. Food, certain activities, and admission to the lighted walking trail are a small fee. See schedule for cost details. 

Tickets are now available for the lighted walking trail at Christmas in the Park 2023- click here to purchase and skip the ticket line at the event!

NEW PARKING FOR 2023- General Parking: General parking will be available at 400 Reading Road, East Earl with FREE shuttle service to and from the park. Follow signs as you approach town. Parking will also be available throughout Terre Hill at marked lots with shuttles making stops at each.

Drop Off: Drop off will be available to unload guests, strollers, etc – use address 210 Lancaster Ave, Terre Hill and follow signs to drop off location inside the park. This area is for active loading and unloading only- no parking or waiting will be permitted.

Handicapped Parking: Available at the Terre Hill Community Center parking lot – Use the Lancaster Ave. entrance to Conestoga Street to access this paved lot. Have your valid handicap placard ready and visible. There is a short gravel trail to get to the event. The lighted walking trail is also gravel- the remainder of the event is in the grass. This is the closest parking lot to the event.

Town Parking: There’s ample parking in town along Main street and side streets which are a few minute walk to the park. Pedestrians entering the park should enter at Lancaster Ave or via the Community Center parking lot. Wagon shuttle will pick up guests at marked stops along Main Street.

Ongoing Events Each Night

  • Lighted Walking Trail & Nativity Display – Stroll through the Terre Hill Park walking trail complete with 100+ hand made lighted decorations, music, live nativity and lots and lots of Christmas lights! Admission to the trail is $5, 3 and under are free. Admission is valid the entire evening. Walking distance is approximately a quarter mile. Transportation through the trail is available to those who require assistance.

  • Christmas Tree Plaza – Enjoy a variety of food including freshly made soup, sandwiches, soft pretzels, funnel cakes, hot chocolate, french fries, nachos, quesadillas, tacos, coffee and more! Dine under our covered pavilion or in the heated tent.
  • Visit with Santa – Santa wants to hear from everyone what they want for Christmas this year! Santa will be on site in the activities tent from 6-8:30 pm.
  • Christmas Village – Experience the magic of Christmas Village! Browse vendors with holiday themed items perfect for the upcoming gift giving season! Enjoy holiday tunes, tasty treats and warm drinks! The village is also the gateway to the lighted walking trail. Enjoy specialty hot chocolate drinks in Christmas in the Park mugs in fun holiday flavors. Also available are baked goods, hot apple cider and popcorn. Visit with local organizations including the Terre Hill Historical Society toy train display!
  • Horse Drawn Carriage Rides – Enjoy a ride like no other through town on a horse drawn carriage! Tickets are $5/person, ages 3 and under are free.
  • Children’s Crafts and Activities Tent – Children’s craft stations, gingerbread cookie decorating ($2), balloon twisting, and more!
  • Horse & Pony Rides – Take a holiday ride with a furry friend! Each night from 5 – 8:30 PM (small fee)

  • Music by Ian Carrollinstrumental Christmas Classics – 6 – 8 pm in Christmas Village
  • Ice Carving Demonstration – 6 pm beside the main food pavilion

  • Holiday Performance by Perfect Harmony – 6 – 8:30 pm on the Christmas Tree Plaza Main Stage
  • Kids Gingerbread Cookie Decorating – 5:30 – 8:30 pm in the Activities Tent. ($2)
  • Visit with the ELANCO Library- 5 – 8:30 pm in the activity tent
  • Holiday Caroling – 5 – 6 pm in Christmas Village
  • Music by Nick DiSanto-  6 – 8 pm in Christmas Village
  • Ice Carving Demonstration – 6 pm beside the main food pavilion
  • GSPA Presents the Gift of the Magi – 7 pm at pavilion 3. This 30 minute adaptation of the classic short story by O. Henry is a Christmas tale for all ages with traditional Christmas carols.

  • GSPA Presents the Gift of the Magi – 7 pm at pavilion 3. This 30 minute adaptation of the classic short story by O. Henry is a Christmas tale for all ages with traditional Christmas carols.

Dogs are permitted, as long as they are friendly and on a leash at all times. Walking trail is partially crushed stone and partially grass and can accommodate wheeled items such as strollers and wheelchairs so long as ground surface permits.
Golf cart transportation through the trail is available for those who may need assistance (no charge).
