Movie Night This Weekend (we hope!)

Alrighty… so here’s the plan for Movie Night in the Park which is scheduled for this Saturday at dusk. The forecast has the possibility of an “occasional shower” in the evening, about a 20% chance. With normal summertime hit and miss rain storms it makes this event an especially tricky call.

We plan to hold the event Saturday evening. If it would be raining around 6 pm (when we need to start setting up) we will make a decision if we need to postpone until Sunday evening.

So- please plan to bring your lawn chairs, blankets, kids (and maybe a few bucks for popcorn) to Terre Hill Park for Beauty and the Beast!

Thanks to Charles M Shirk Trucking for sponsoring this event– and thanks for your patience as we try to make it happen!

Movie Night in the Park – This Saturday!

The long awaited Movie Night in the Park is (re)scheduled for this Saturday, June 23. And… the forecast is for clear skies and low 80’s! We may just get this one in, folks! IF we would have bad weather Saturday, we will try again Sunday night.

We’ll be showing Disney’s Beauty and the Beast starting at dusk.

Fresh, hot popcorn, drinks, snacks and other refreshments will be available at the pavilion. Come early and grab some food and a chance to win prizes sponsored by Blue Ridge Communications!
