Last weekend we wrapped up the 14th annual Terre Hill Haunted Trail! The weather was a bit chilly and windy, but around 560 guests joined us for the event this year. Together, we raised over $5,000 for the Terre Hill Park!
I’ve had a bunch of folks over the past week asking about the trail and what’s in store for next year. Rather than have incorrect rumors spreading around, here’s the facts- Just before this year’s event kicked off, I announced to the staff that this would be my last year heading up the Haunted Trail. The event has meant so much to me over the years and I’ve deeply enjoyed working with my fellow volunteers and committee members to grow the event. We’ve had so much positive feedback over the years, and enjoyed support from the community as well as area businesses.
Sadly, the event requires an enormous time commitment. While we’ve had a great team, we just haven’t had the manpower needed to set up and tear down the event- nor have I had the time to commit that I once had. Rather than see the event decline in quality, I must let it go.

Despite some wet weather last night we are in great shape for the Fall Harvest Parade today at 3 pm and the 14th Terre Hill Haunted Trail, opening tonight at 7 pm! Tickets at food available at 6. See you there!
Autumn is in full swing and it’s time for our Terre Hill Fall festivities! It all starts Saturday afternoon with our annual Fall Harvest Parade. The parade starts at 3:00 pm behind the Terre Hill gas station at 300 Main Street. Arrive early for costume and float registration for judging.Route follows Main street, turning left on Lancaster Avenue and left into the park entrance. Parade concludes with costume judging results at the Terre Hill Park, main pavilion. Refreshments available.
Later.. at 7pm the Terre Hill Haunted Trail will open for it’s 14th event in the Terre Hill Park! Don’t miss this one folks, it’s one of the best yet! Ticket window and food open at 6 pm at the pavilion. Admission is $7- all ages, and is a donation to the Terre Hill Park. Over 100 volunteers will be working to make this event a one of a kind Halloween spectacular filled with live actors, special effects, spooky sounds and tons of fun. Trail operates until 10 pm.
With only days away until the 2016 Terre Hill Haunted Trail we are pressing on to finish up what will be an event you just can’t miss! Whether you’re a trail veteran or this will be your first time, the fun and surprises in store for this year will have you wanting to go through again!
Many talented folks have spent countless hours the past month preparing for this weekend- a special thanks goes out to them for all of their hard work- this event would not be possible without you!
The Terre Hill Haunted Trail is a one night event- ticket window opens Saturday at 6 pm and the trail operates from 7 pm-10 pm, or the last guest is through. Food will be available for purchase at the pavilion.

The 2016 Terre Hill Haunted Trail is less than two weeks away! Construction is in high gear as we begin to wrap up major components for this year’s event. We’ve had a wonderful group of volunteers working on what will be one of the most exciting events yet- you can’t miss it!

The Terre Hill Haunted Trail will be held on Saturday, October 22 and operate from 7-10 pm. Admission is $7 per person and benefits the park.
