With May on our doorsteps it’s time to start thinking about Terre Hill Days!
Terre Hill Days will be held July 19-21 this year and we have a great lineup of entertainment and events planned. If you’d like to take part as a vendor, click here to visit our vendor page for more information. Spaces are nearly filled so please contact us soon to reserve a spot!
We are very pleased to announce our main stage entertainment for Terre Hill Days 2018! On Friday night we will welcome “america’s most exciting show band”, Rick K. & The Allnighters! Rick and his band from Morgantown, West Virginia will take us on a high speed tour of rock’s greatest hits from the fabulous fifties all the way to the new millennium.
On Saturday we are excited to present country music recording artist Chad Reinert! Born in Maple Grove, PA, Chad has recorded several albums and performs frequently in Nashville, but we’re excited to welcome him back home for his first performance in Terre Hill!
Our Thursday night entertainment will again this year feature a fun variety of local musicians- and we’re looking for your help! From now until February 12 we will be accepting YOUR recommendations and submissions for our Thursday night lineup. Simply email details to firstname.lastname@example.org. No Facebook messages, texts or carrier pigeons, please!
Some of our children’s entertainment this year will feature Magic by Jonathan, Joyful Canvas, Insanity Factor and Mr. Sneakers…. much more to come- stay tuned!
We hope you were able to enjoy Terre Hill Days 2017!
While the weather was a bit on the fence at times we still had a great few days of summertime fun at the Terre Hill Park. THANK YOU to everyone who attended and supported our community park. A special thank you to all the volunteers who assisted with the event this year- we could not do it without you! Many of our stands sold out of food and supplies Saturday night and we greatly appreciate everyone who came out to enjoy the fair.
If you haven’t seen, LNP has published two great articles on the event: http://lancasteronline.com/news/local/missing-front-teeth–year-old-wins-terre-hill-pie/article_594d8b84-69ba-11e7-bb49-6b551e82f4fb.html , http://lancasteronline.com/news/local/they-race-outhouses-in-terre-hill-and-they-really-go/article_bc687704-69ad-11e7-9c27-9bd0eaed218f.html
And we posted a few photos on our Facebook page- https://www.facebook.com/terrehilldays/
We sure hope you are enjoying Terre Hill Days 2017! Events continue tomorrow with an outdoor community church service under the big tent at 10:30 am.
Also tomorrow is the annual community picnic– everyone and anyone is invited! We’ll supply hot dogs and beverages, just bring a covered dish to share and we’ll enjoy some great entertainment from the Martin Sisters at noon!
